Meet Arny Davis - Lewis County Treasurer

Arny Davis was elected as Lewis County Treasurer and assumed office in January of 2015. He is the 28th treasurer to serve since 1850. Arny served as Chief Deputy Treasurer for two and a half years prior to becoming Lewis County Treasurer. He chairs the County Finance Committee and oversees a staff of eight at the Treasurer’s office. The County Treasurer holds a key position of public trust in the financial affairs of local government.

Arny Davis brings over 30 years of business management, finance, accounting, marketing and strategic planning experience to the Treasurer’s office. He served as a commercial lender for both national and local banks.

Arny served on the Lewis County Planning Commission from 2007 through 2014. He currently serves on the Centralia College Foundation Board, is an active member of the Twin City Rotary Club, and attends and serves at Centralia Community Church of God.

As a former Commercial Banker and business owner, Arny’s experience represents a well balanced approach to serve the citizens of Lewis County in carrying out the duties of County Treasurer. “I will work to continue the high level of service that the citizens of Lewis County have come to expect from its Treasurer “.

Arny and his wife Ellen live in Adna. They have two children. Daughter Kaleen and her husband Teigen Goodeill, who reside in Corvallis, OR and daughter Mya, who recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University with a BS in Nursing and has accepted a position with Providence St. Peter's in Lacey, WA. Arny and Ellen have been blessed with two grandchildren and enjoy spending free time with them.
